Alfa SZ - Has had several owners in Switzerland in 60's and early seventies, then Netherlands and Canada before coming to the US in the mid 70's. The car was used in minor events and hillclimbs in Switzerland, and transitioned to vintage racing in Canada. I bought the car in 2001 and have run it in three or four events each year. |
| Why I vintage race |
I grew up with a passion for cars. I attended a couple hillclimbs, SCCA events at Cotati, and much later Gran Prixs at Long Beach. In the mid 80‚s, after attending several vintage events, I bought a vintage racer and headed up to Sears Pt for my first CSRG event (the first weekend I had the car). After five years that car found a new home. Now some years later the joy of participation and the friends who share this experience have brought me back. Great fun! |
